Multiple ways to cover the costs of eye care, glasses, and contact lenses

vision insurance plans info

INSURANCE

We work with most plans

No vision plan? No problem! Some medical insurance plans include routine benefits which means you can use it for a routine eye exam! In fact, any eye care besides a basic eye exam would be covered by your medical insurance anyway. This includes dry eyes, red eyes, allergies, cataracts, floaters, pain, injuries, infections, diabetic eye exams, glaucoma testing, etc. After all, your eyes are connected to the rest of your body! We are happy to explain your benefits to you. Give us a call today!

VISION VS MEDICAL INSURANCE

How to make sense of it

Many are not aware that vision insurance is not actually insurance, but rather a discount plan that contributes towards the costs of routine wellness exams and glasses and/or contact lenses. Medical insurance covers anything beyond wellness exams such as dry eye, eye infections, eye allergies, eye trauma, red eyes, diabetic eye exams, cataracts, glaucoma, and other conditions. For your convenience, we work with both vision plans and medical insurance. We bill one or the other depending on your reason for visiting us and the diagnoses made during your exam. We strive to keep you informed and are happy to answer any questions you may have regarding your coverage.
